Dance Floor Tape Should Be “Conformable”. What Does That Mean?
In order to hold two sections of dance floor together with a strong bond, vinyl dance floor tape needs a characteristic called “conformability. While the floor surface appears to be flat and smooth, it has slight undulations and surfact texture that will be exposed to the adhesive coated side of the tape.
Conformable tape will grip all these minor texture abnormalities give the tape extra surface to grab hold of. It can do this without stretching or tearing, giving it maximum holding power.
