Vinyl dance floors need regular mopping, both to keep them clean and to prevent damage from small grit particles that can be ground into the floor.

Most commercial mop solutions will work, but only if they do not contain ammonia.

Ammonia is great for cleaning tile, but the chemical makeup of ammonia can interact with some vinyls, making your floor surface slippery.
