It’s Spring in Chapel Hill, NC!

Wow, how lucky are we here in Chapel Hill, NC??  Home to DanceFloorTape.com, where we bleed UNC Carolina Blue!  As part of its mission to enrich the UNC Campus and surrounding community, UNC’s Carolina Performing Arts presents the premiere of a re-envisioned version of Stravinsky’s ‘The Rite of Spring’, originally performed 100 years ago in Paris.  This commissioned endeavor combines the genius and amazing talents of Bill T. Jones, Executive Artistic Director of New York Live Arts and a Kennedy Center Honoree, and Anne Bogart, innovative theater director and co-founder of SITI, into an amazing experience.

So if you are lucky enough to live in the Chapel Hill area, and are looking for something to do this weekend, they have performances on the 25th and 26th of January at UNC’s Memorial Hall.  Click here to get your tickets.  If you don’t live here, keep an eye out in your city for this great work of art commissioned by the Carolina Performing Arts.

DanceFloorTape.com actively supports local artistic programs.  The same Marley floor tape and gaffers tapes we sell to our touring shows are used by our local students who have aspirations of someday dancing in a production choreographed by the amazing Bill T. Jones, or staring in an ensemble cast directed by Anne Bogart.  No matter the goals of your students, we have the vinyl dance floor tape to hold your dance floor together for any performance.
